Who
can do Laughter Yoga?
Anyone and
everyone! Laughter is a universal language, it
is something which we all have ingrained in us,
we all can do it. Laughter Yoga can unite and
connect people regardless of race, religion, age,
sex or disability. It is something truly unique.
What
is Laughter Yoga?
Laughter
Yoga is a combination of simulated laughter exercises
with gentle yogic style breathing and stretching
and lots of childlike playfulness put together
in a fun, interactive way to stimulate your natural
flow of spontaneous laughter.
Do
you use jokes in Laughter Yoga?
Laughter
Yoga is a non-humour based form of laughter so
we do not encourage the use of jokes during Laughter
Yoga sessions. We practice laughing for no reason
and use laughter as a form of exercise as well
as a way to naturally release endorphins (the
natural happy chemicals) through the body to improve
how we feel, giving us a natural lift of energy,
mood and exercise.
How
can Laughter Yoga bring on real laughter, isn't
it fake laughing?
When the founder
of Laughter Yoga developed this method he discovered
that the brain actually doesn't distinguish between
real or simulated laughter and that if you do
the physical expression of the laughter the body
will automatically start to release the chemical
releases that happen with true laughter anyway.
However as this method utilises the contagious
effect of laughter it will usually trigger the
participants natural flow of spontaneous laughter
even if initially the person did not feel like
laughing. As the body changes, so does the mind
and emotions.
What
does a Laughter Yoga Leader do?
A Laughter
Yoga Leader is a person who has been trained to
facilitate Laughter Yoga with groups of people
either as a Laughter Yoga session or integrate
and combine it with other modalities, therapies
or training methods.
Will
the Laughter Yoga Leadership Training qualify
me to facilitate laughter sessions?
Yes. Our 2
day Vibrance Laughter Yoga Leadership Training
will train you in the method of Laughter Yoga
and give you the tools so that you will gain the
skills to facilitate Laughter Yoga sessions and
once you complete and pass your assessment you
will gain certification from Dr Kataria's School
of Laughter Yoga as a Laughter Yoga Leader.

weekends.
In respect for
